Hello, Friend,
As late summer sets in, our parish community is bustling with activity and renewed energy. With school officially back in session, and momentum building across all our ministries, we are looking forward to coming together next weekend for our annual Parish Picinic. It promises to be a wonderful time of fellowship, food, and fun for all ages – we hope to see you and your family there!
May God grant your prayers and desires this week and beyond. Please let the parish staff know how we can serve you!
God bless ~ Frs. Mark & Asirvadam, and your parish

School is Back!
The 2026-2027 St Scholastica school year has officially begun. It was wonderful to see families, parishioners and students gather for our very first Mass of the school year, the pews were filled with energy and joy! Prior to Mass Fr. Mark and Fr. Dandu offered special blessings over all of our students, teachers, and staff. Together we ask God for His protection, guidance, strength, and success in the months ahead.

St. Scholastic is so proud of our Religious Education program! Thank you for your guidance, Mrs. Gamino, Mrs. Olson, and to all our Catechists that generously volunteer their time!

Our Catechists Are Ready! This past Saturday, we gathered for our annual Catechist Orientation, and all I can say is—wow! What a beautiful, faith-filled afternoon. Together, we explored our new curriculum, reviewed program guidelines and policies, prepared for the year ahead, prayed together, and welcomed our guest speaker, Terry Nelson-Johnson.
Terry spoke beautifully about the importance of being truly present to the people God places before us and reminded us that paying attention matters. In Religious Education, that message is especially meaningful. Faith formation happens through our lessons and curriculum, but it also happens through relationships—when a child is noticed, listened to, encouraged, remembered, and welcomed. Those seemingly small moments can become sacred moments. Our hope is that every child who walks through our doors knows that they are seen, valued, loved, and that they have a place within our Catholic faith community!
Our program simply could not operate the way it does without the many people who quietly step in wherever they are needed.
Please join me in welcoming and thanking our 2026–2027 St. Scholastica Religious Education Catechist & Volunteer Team!
God Bless! Lindsay Gamino
