Summer is a season of vibrant new beginnings, and that is certainly true for St Scholastica as we enter a new month next week. First, lift up Father Juan in your prayers for a smooth and peaceful move to his next calling at St. Matthew’s. At the same time, we are full of excitement to welcome Father Asirvadam Dandu as our new parochial vicar on July 1.  We look forward with great anticipation to the blessings and guidance Fr Dandu will bring to our parish life this summer and beyond.

Cami has announced that she will step down from her role as our Parish Secretary to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. We extend our deepest gratitude for her dedicated service.

From managing the daily details, scheduling baptisms to providing a comforting word to anyone who walked through the door, Cami’s helpful spirit has left a lasting mark on all of us.

A Swing and a Prayer Golf Outing

Join Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet for A Swing and a Prayer, our annual golf outing benefiting programs and services that provide hope, help, and support to individuals and families throughout the Diocese of Joliet.

The event will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, Lemont.

Enjoy a day of golf, fellowship, and fun while supporting the important programs and services provided by Catholic Charities. Golfers will receive 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch at the turn, drinks on the course, cocktail hour, buffet dinner, and the opportunity to participate in contests and win prizes.
