There is a wonderful rhythm to the beginning of summer. The warmer days naturally draw us outside, encouraging us to gather, connect, and appreciate the beauty of creation together.
It is also a powerful time of spiritual alignment, celebrating Corpus Christi. This feast calls us to a deep spiritual renewal, challenging us to look at how we live out our faith as a collective community. We aren’t just individuals enjoying the good weather; we are the active Body of Christ. This summer let’s be intentional with our time together – letting our gatherings be filled with joy, and our hearts be renewed in service and fellowship.

As our Vacation Bible School campers prepare for a joyful week at Illumination Station VBS, we invite our parish family to keep them in prayer and in heart throughout the week. We ask that God bless all our children, volunteers, and families as they gather together. May this be a week filled with joy, laughter, and discovery as we shine a light on Jesus in all we do. We pray that our campers will grow in faith as they hear His Word, sing His praise, play, create, and share in community. May they be kept safe, guided with gentle hearts, and surrounded by kindness in every moment. Most of all, may they come to know more deeply that Jesus is the true Light of the world—shining in their lives now and always.
As a parish, we walk with them in spirit, asking that the seeds planted during this week of VBS continue to grow long after the final day—bearing fruit in love, hope, and discipleship. Let us all keep our St. Scholastica VBS campers close in our prayers as we shine the light of Christ in our parish community!

It was an absolute honor for St. Scholastica to host the 2026 Santacruzan celebration. The entire day was a beautiful event, deeply rooted in faith and vibrant culture. It was a true privilege to welcome the wider community alongside our own parish family. We were thrilled to be part of this tradition and to introduce many to it for the first time.
From start to finish, it was a truly wonderful day, beginning with a moving Mass, a visitation with Our Lady of Fatima, and a gorgeous procession on the St. Scholastica campus. The festivities concluded with fellowship and fun, leaving everyone with grateful hearts and beautiful memories of a day well spent together.
